The event began on Saturday afternoon in the center of Paleochori, where visitors were able to taste chestnuts, roasted and boiled and drink plenty of wine. Furthermore, traditional dances were presented by a group of the Cultural Club of Paleochori.

On Sunday there is a celebration of nature and the delicious chestnut, where again chestnuts are served, cooked in different ways. At the same time a rich musical show full of color was presented, flooding the atmosphere. The performing dance groups participated in the Cultural Association of Paleochori, but also parts of ‘score’ clubs of Avli, New Iraklitsa and Georgiani. The festivities last until late afternoon, when attendees renew their appointment for next year.
